The Rode PinMic Long lavalier microphone is perfect for situations that require a high-quality microphone that needs to be heard, but not seen. Simply remove the omni-directional capsule from its base, and stick the extra long pins through your clothing. Because the pins are 0.14 inches long, you can use the PinMic for thicker pieces of clothing. The cable and the microphone back plate can be easily hidden underneath your clothing. The only thing visible is the capsule head (0.3 by 0.4 inches). If you want to disguise the capsule cover, you can paint it in the colour of your clothing.

The capsule has an omni-directional pickup pattern, giving you more freedom to move around as you're no longer restricted to the exact placement of the microphone. As this lavalier has a very wide frequency range, you get beautiful bass tones and great clarity - this is not the case with most lavaliers, which are more focused on mids and trebles. With an impressive maximum sound pressure of 110 dB, you don't have to worry about loud sound sources. You can connect the capsule to a belt pack of your choice by means of a detachable 3.9-ft cable. This cable has been reinforced with Kevlar, guaranteeing smooth signal transfer.

This lavalier microphone is perfect for speakers and reporters. It even comes with a Mini Furry so that you can use the microphone outside without the wind causing noise. The microphone is also great for use in theatres, films, and houses of worship. Thanks to Rode's MiCon system, the microphone is compatible with most standard microphone systems.
